Sweet Dreams: What Keeps You Up At Night?
Posted Jun 29, 2018
Our summer sermon theme is Sweet Dreams: What Keeps You Up at Night?
On occasion we don’t sleep because we’re filled with anticipation about what the next day will bring. But in our uncertain and sometimes chaotic world, there are a lot of hard things that can hinder our sleep. Over the course of this summer, we’ll be discussing a few of them, including fear and anxiety, regret, money, spiritual burdens, conflict, and uncertainty about the future.
In spite of all the things that can rob your sleep, the Scripture promises that your sleep can be sweet. Proverbs 3:21 & 24 says it succinctly:
My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight,
preserve sound judgment and discretion;
[then] when you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Join us as we explore how God wants to sweeten up a third of the hours in your day!
